Demographic characteristics with Google Analytics

GOOGLE ADWORDS AND GOOGLE CONVERSION TRACKING

This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising programme of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (‘Google’).

As part of Google AdWords, we use what is known as conversion tracking. When you click on an advert placed by Google, a cookie is set for conversion tracking. Cookies are small text files that the Internet browser stores on the user’s computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used to personally identify the user. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognise that the user has clicked on the ad and has been redirected to this page.

MARKETING AND EVALUATION MANAGEMENT PLATFORM ‘REVINATE’

Your email address is processed to send marketing emails as well as pre-stay emails and post-stay feedback requests with Revinate. We also manage and analyse hotel reviews from websites such as Google, Booking.com, TripAdvisor via the Revinate Reputation Platform. The provider is Revinate Inc, One Lettermann Drive, Bldg. Your e-mail address and your name are stored on Revinate’s servers in the USA. Revinate processes this information to send and evaluate emails on our behalf and to optimise or improve its own services, e.g. to technically optimise the sending and presentation of content and guest surveys. When the pre- or post-stay e-mail or the guest survey is opened, technical information such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and time of access, is initially collected via a so-called ‘web beacon’. This information is processed to improve the services based on the technical data or the target groups and their reading behaviour based on their retrieval locations (which can be determined using the IP address) or the access times. An additional data processing agreement sets out the conditions applicable to the processing of personal data by Revinate under the contract.
